MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd November, 2018) The Kremlin does not know of any work to change the list of conditions for Russia's use of nuclear weapons, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Thursday.
The Federation Council, Russia's upper house, suggested Wednesday that the Russian Security Council draft a new edition of the fundamentals of Russia's policy in nuclear deterrence, which in particular define the conditions for Russia's use of nuclear weapons.
"Quite recently, the president listed the reasons... for the use of nuclear weapons... I don't know that there are some discussions now in terms of further improving those arguments," Peskov said when asked what the Kremlin's reaction to that proposal was, whether these parameters really needed to be clarified.
