"On November 11, in Palermo, shortly before the opening of the International Conference on Libya, Special Representative of the Russian President on the middle East and Africa, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Chairman of the High Council of State of Libya, Khaled Mishri," the ministry said.
"During the conversation, a thorough exchange of views was held on the issue of normalizing the situation in Libya. The Russian side reaffirmed its principled position in favor of overcoming inter-Libyan disagreements in the way of a broad national dialogue in the interests of ensuring the unity, territorial integrity and state sovereignty of Libya," it said.
