MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th November, 2018) Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Falih are holding a bilateral meeting on Sunday ahead of the Joint OPEC-Non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) meeting, the Russian Energy Ministry said in a statement.
"The meeting between Alexander Novak and Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Falih is underway," the ministry posted on Twitter.
The JMMC will meet in the United Arab Emirates' capital of Abu Dhabi later in the day. The JMMC is going to discuss the required volumes of oil production cuts after the recently-implemented US sanctions against Iran's energy industry.
