The Chinese Foreign Ministry stressed that both leaders had good hopes for the healthy and confident development of the Chinese-US relations, as well as the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, and the sides must make efforts to make this a reality.
In turn, Trump expressed hope to meet with Xi during the summit, and that both sides would make due joint efforts to fully prepare the meeting, according to the Foreign Ministry.
The G20 Summit will be held in Buenos Aires between November 30 and December 1.
