MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th October, 2018) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed by phone with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo preparations for the upcoming meeting of Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.
"On October 26, on the initiative of the American side, a telephone conversation was held between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Urgent issues on the international agenda and bilateral relations were discussed in the context of preparation for the upcoming contacts of the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States," it said.
