BRUSSELS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th October, 2018) A total of 25 flights are canceled on Friday in the Brussels Airport over a spontaneous strike action by employees of the Belgian handling company Aviapartner, a representative of the airport's operating company said.
Aviapartner employees demand better working conditions and compensations.
Two baggage handlers operate in the Brussels Airport Aviapartner and Swissport, with Aviapartner handling flights of such airline companies as British Airways, Air Baltic, Iberia, KLM, Qatar Airways, SAS and Easyjet and Ryanair low-costers.
The strike was launched on Thursday evening and caused the cancellation of 18 flights on that day.
