MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th October, 2018) Moscow expects a thorough, impartial investigation to be conducted in the case of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder, and also welcomes the work begun by Ankara and Riyadh, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday.
"We believe an investigation should be conducted. We also believe political statements must give way to an objective, comprehensive, impartial investigation. When it is completed in accordance with all procedures, legally, then appropriate assessments and political statements will be made. The most important thing now is an impartial investigation," Zakharova said.
