WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 24th October, 2018) The United States is taking a number of steps in response to the killing of columnist Jamal Khashoggi, including revoking visas and possibly imposing sanctions under the Magnitsky Act against individuals involved in the case, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a press conference on Tuesday.
"We are taking appropriate actions, which include revoking visas, entering visa lookouts and other measures," Pompeo told reporters. "We are also working with the Treasury Department to review the applicability of Magnitsky sanctions to those individuals."
