The United States and other governments need to push harder to learn the truth about what happened to Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who disappeared after entering the Saudi Consulate in Turkey, the newspaper's CEO Fred Ryan said in a statement on Tuesday.

"The Saudi government can no longer remain silent, and it is essential that our own government and others push harder for the truth," Ryan said.
