DAMASCUS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 16th October, 2018) Syrian President Bashar Assad has told the Crimean delegation that he would definitely attend the Yalta International Economic Forum next spring if had a chance, Andrey Nazarov, the forum's organizing committee co-chairman, said on Tuesday.
The Syrian leader met with the Russian delegation earlier in the day.
"Bashar Assad said that it was a great honor for him to be invited, and if circumstances allowed, he would definitely come, noting that he would like to visit Crimea and participate in such a large international event that is taking place in Yalta ... He said that he would definitely take part if nothing prevents him from doing so," Nazarov told reporters.
