"The decision on granting autocephaly has already been made, I stress that the decision on granting autocephaly to Ukraine has been made," Poroshenko said in a broadcast by Ukrainian television channels.
Poroshenko also promised that Ukraine would respect the choice of "those who decide to remain in the church structure that will maintain unity with the Russian Orthodox Church.
