Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 11th October, 2018) A woman on Twittter, who used to work at a local newspaper, has accused the son of renowned philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi, Faisal Edhi, of harassment.
Taking to Twitter, Urooj Zia, wrote a thread on how Faisal Edhi tried to grab her hand and later kept making advances over calls and messages.
“Since this is all coming out, #MeToo too many times than I can count, but this one is about Faisal Edhi, Abdus Sattar Edhi's son - the guy heading the Edhi Foundation now,” she began and went on to narrate her experience.
Faisal Edhi has however denied the allegations.
Speaking to a local newspaper, he said, “I do not even know this lady and I have no idea why she is leveling allegations against me. I have no recollection of any such incident.”
