ST. PETERSBURG (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th October, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope on Wednesday that Europe in the situation around Nord Stream 2 would not act like Bulgaria which had abandoned the implementation of the South Stream pipeline project and thereby failed to defend own national interests.
"We would not want the whole Europe to look like Bulgaria that demonstrated weakness and inability to protect its national interests," Putin said, following the talks with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.
