South Korea's state railway operator Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) will open its office in the Russian capital in the near future, South Korean Ambassador to Moscow Woo Yoon-keun said on Tuesday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 02nd October, 2018) South Korea's state railway operator Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) will open its office in the Russian capital in the near future, South Korean Ambassador to Moscow Woo Yoon-keun said on Tuesday.
"An office of the Korea Railroad Corporation will open in Moscow soon," Woo told reporters.
South Korea is trying to revive an old project of the Khasan-Rajin railway that would deliver cargo from Russia to North Korean city of Rajin. The shipment will then be made to South Korea by sea.
Seoul and Pyongyang are also working on the connection of their railways amid a thaw in inter-Korean ties.
