She lauded the dams fund initiative taken by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 29th September, 2018) On her 25th birthday, actress Mawra Hocane has donated Rs 1 lac in the dams fund dedicated to the construction of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams.
Mawra wished to give back out of what she has earned. The actress announced her donation to the national cause on her Twitter account.
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 starlet said that she made the donation for Prime Minister Imran Khan.
She lauded the dams fund initiative taken by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and also urged other people to contribute in the fund.
“With the wish to give back on my birthday, l’ve donated Rs 100,000 to the #DamFund .This is for My PM @ImranKhanPTI . I urge all of you to contribute whatever little you can to the future of our Pakistan🇵🇰❤️ @PTIofficial Great initiative by CJP #SaqibNisar,” she wrote.
Actress Mawra Hocane celebrated her 25th birthday on Friday.
Mawra started her day with a visit to an old age home ‘Bint-e-Fatima’.
Sharing some pictures from the visit on her Instagram account, the actress wrote, “Blessed to start my B-Day with these amazing mothers at #BinteFatima this morning.. sooo many duas & so much Looove! 🎂”
She also mentioned an old woman Haleema who will be appearing on the screen in upcoming drama Aaangan. Mawra fulfilled her promise she made to her on the sets and spent her birthday with this old lady.
“I promised her on set that I’ll spend my birthday with her, she had forgotten my name but she hadn’t forgotten my promise. So much innocence and peace at this old age home,” she said.
Mawra hoped that no parents have to live to see their children abandon them and also gave a shout out to her mother.
