OPEC-Non-OPEC States Recommit To Create Framework For Long Cooperation - Saudi Minister

ALGIERS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd September, 2018) The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-cartel oil producers recommitted themselves during the meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) in Algiers to adopting "evergreen" cooperation framework beyond 2018, Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Falih said on Sunday.

"[We are] recommitting ourselves to adopting a framework of cooperation that will be evergreen that will take us forever to continued cooperation between OPEC, non-OPEC beyond this year. We will start this work by examining oil production, guidance we will hear in December at the ministerial meeting, so that 2019 will prevent risks of market being either on the high or the low side," Falih said at a press conference after the OPEC-non-OPEC Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) meeting in Algiers.
