Netanyahu Expresses Condolences to Putin Over Russian Il-20 Crash in Syria

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin by phone over the death of the crew of a Russian Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft in Syria, accusing the Syrian authorities of the incident, Netanyahu's office said in a press release.

"Netanyahu expressed regret over the death of Russian servicemen and said that Syria is responsible for the crash of the aircraft," it said.
