MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th September, 2018) Russian military inspectors will visit Greece on Tuesday to check the information on plans for the deployment of weapons systems at a military facility in this country, head Russian Defense Ministry's National Nuclear Risk Reduction Center (NNRRC), Sergei Ryzhkov, said on Monday.
"In accordance with the Vienna Document of 2011 on confidence-building and security measures, a team of Russian inspectors plans a visit to assess the military facility of the Greek armed forces. The one-day visit will be held on September 18, 2018," Ryzhkov said.
Such visits are conducted to assess the information on military forces and plans for the deployment of major weapons systems and military equipment, the official explained.
During the visit, the inspectors would receive information from the military facility's command concerning the personnel, as well as the basic weapons and equipment systems, he concluded.
