Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that it had established the tail number of the missile, which downed the MH17 flight. According to the ministry, the missile was produced in 1986 and was delivered to a military unit in Ukraine, but was not transported back to Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
"I believe that we should move beyond the Defense Ministry's statement, the issue should be raised at the UN level," Klintsevich said.
