Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met today in Moscow with Israeli National Security Council chief Meir Ben-Shabbat, the sides discussed Russia-Israel cooperation in the sphere of security, the fight against terrorism and the situation in Syria, the Russian Security Council said in a statement Thursday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th September, 2018) Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met today in Moscow with Israeli National Security Council chief Meir Ben-Shabbat, the sides discussed Russia-Israel cooperation in the sphere of security, the fight against terrorism and the situation in Syria, the Russian Security Council said in a statement Thursday.
"Nikolai Patrushev and Meir Ben-Shabbat exchanged views on a number of issues of Russian-Israeli interaction in the security sphere, focusing on the problem of countering terrorism... They considered the situation around Syria," it said.
