Russia's Federation Council speaker Valentina Matvienko is holding a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as part of the Russian lawmakers delegation's visit to Pyongyang, Russian upper house's International Affairs Committee head Konstantin Kosachev said on Saturday.
PYONGYANG (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th September, 2018) Russia's Federation Council speaker Valentina Matvienko is holding a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as part of the Russian lawmakers delegation's visit to Pyongyang, Russian upper house's International Affairs Committee head Konstantin Kosachev said on Saturday.
"She is now at a meeting with [Kim], in accordance with the schedule of the state council head," Kosachev said, explaining Matvienko's absence during the delegation's visit to a preschool facility in Pyongyang.
