Russian President Vladimir Putin held Friday a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of the Russia-Turkey-Iran summit.
The meeting, which focused on the situation in Syria, was held in the International Congress Center in Tehran.
TEHRAN (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th September, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin held Friday a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of the Russia-Turkey-Iran summit.
The meeting, which focused on the situation in Syria, was held in the International Congress Center in Tehran.
The Russian delegation also included the country's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov.
Putin is also expected to meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The third Russia-Turkey-Iran summit on Syria will kick off later in the day.
