"Moscow continues to closely monitor the situation in Libya and the capital of the country. We regret to note that the situation in this country does not stabilize but also tends to worsen ... Yet another outbreak of confrontation in Tripoli is viewed by Moscow with the most serious concern, and we once again urge all the opposing Libyan parties to cease hostilities, contribute to the restoration of peace in the capital, to take all measures to prevent the plunging of the country into chaos," the ministry said in a statement.
