MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 03rd September, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are expected to meet in the near future, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.
"Another meeting between President Putin and Prime Minister Pashinyan is expected to take place in the near future. I think it will be important for us to hear how the new Armenian leader assesses the prospects for the development of the situation in his country. Of course, we are worried how Armenia's obligations within the Collective Security Treaty Organization would look like in this situation. We believe that these commitments remain in force, they must be fully implemented, including in relation to strengthening the reputation and prestige of our organization," Lavrov told students of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
