Marines from Ukraine are participating in the Platinum Eagle-2018 international military exercises in Romania, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 31st August, 2018) Marines from Ukraine are participating in the Platinum Eagle-2018 international military exercises in Romania, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
"The multinational Platinum Eagle-2018 drills, in which Ukrainian marines are participating, have started in Romania," the ministry said in a statement.
Soldiers of the United States, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Georgia are also taking part in the exercises, according to the statement.
The goal of the drills is to boost ties between the participating troops, the statement said.
