MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 31st August, 2018) Seven people died Thursday in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a semi-truck in the US state of Mexico, police said.
New Mexico State Police said they responded to a road accident involving multiple fatalities at 12 p.m. local time.
Police believe the semi-truck had a tire blowout and crossed into oncoming traffic where it hit the Greyhound bus going in the opposite direction.
The bus was travelling from Albuquerque to Phoenix, according to CNN. It was carrying 49 people, most of whom were taken to local hospitals with different injuries, including children.
