MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th August, 2018) Syria praises Russia's role in the fight against terrorism, prefers the Russian side in issues related to restoration of the country's economy, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said on Thursday.
"We highly appreciate the role Russia played in the fight against terrorists in Syria, and the role of President Putin personally ... We also prefer the Russian side in the issue of structural restoration of our country's economy," Muallem said at the start of the meeting with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
