MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th August, 2018) The defense attache office of the Hungarian Embassy in Moscow will attend the upcoming Vostok-2018 large-scale military exercises in Russia, the embassy told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"Defense attache, as well as military and air force attaches of Hungary in Moscow will partake as observers," the embassy said.
On Tuesday, acting NATO Spokesman Dylan White told Sputnik that NATO would closely monitor Vostok-2018, while military attaches in Moscow were invited to a voluntary observation of the exercise.
The Vostok-2018 military drills on September 11-15 are set to become Russia's largest military exercises since the Zapad drills in 1981, involving nearly 300,000 servicemen, 36,000 tanks, armored personnel carriers and other vehicles, as well as more than 1,000 aircraft.
