MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th August, 2018) Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday redirected the question on the Russian military buildup in the Mediterranean Sea to the Defense Ministry.
"This is for the Defense Ministry, please," Peskov told reporters answering the question what was the reason for the strengthening of the Russian battle group in the Mediterranean.
Russian media reported that Moscow has started the deployment of the largest maritime battle group in the Mediterranean since the beginning of the Syrian conflict.
