MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th August, 2018) A provocation involving a toxic agents attack is planned to be carried out within the next two days in the Syrian settlement of Kafr Zita, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.
The spokesman said that according to information received earlier in the day by the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation from local residents, foreign English-speaking specialists arrived in the Habit settlement, which is located in the south of the Idlib de-escalation zone, for staging of a "chemical attack" using chlorine-filled missiles.
"It is planned to carry out a strike using warfare munition with poisonous substances within the next two days from rocket launchers in the settlement of Kafr Zita, located six kilometers south of Habit," Konashenkov said.
