"The Russian side ... recorded 13 cases of gunfire. Three cases were registered in the province of Latakia, while nine cases were recorded in the province of Aleppo and one case was registered in the Hama province. The Turkish side of the commission has not registered any cases," the ministry said in a daily bulletin.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliations supplied 2.5 tonnes of food to the residents of the Abdin and al-Jamla settlements, located in the Quneitra province, the bulletin added.

Medics assisted 326 people, the document noted.

No Syrian settlements had signed agreements on joining the ceasefire over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry pointed out. The number of armed groups that have claimed to observe the ceasefire regime remains 234.

Both Russia and Turkey, alongside Iran, are the guarantor states of the Syrian ceasefire regime. Moreover, the Russian forces have been supporting the forces of Syrian President Bashar Assad in their fight against terrorism and providing humanitarian assistance to the Syrians.
