Russia's Arms Exporter Rosoboronexport Signs Contracts Worth Over $300Mln At Army-2018

KUBINKA (Moscow region) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 24th August, 2018) � Russia's state arms exporter Rosoboronexport signed 15 contracts worth more than 20.3 billion rubles (over $300 mln) during the Army-2018 defense industry forum, the company announced on Friday.

"The sum of export contracts signed by Rosoboronexport on the sidelines of the Army-2018 forum exceeded 20.3 billion rubles. This includes sales of modern land-based military equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare means, close combat weapons, etc.," the company's press service said citing Director general Alexander Mikheev.

According to Mikheev, the company's portfolio has been expanded with firm orders from countries in Asia and Africa , as well as from member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

"Despite continuing anti-Russian propaganda, Rosoboronexport held a series of successful negotiations with delegations from several European countries that visited the Army-2018 forum," Mikheev added.
