MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 24th August, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Saudi Arabia is possible, the president has received an invitation, Moscow is in contact with Riyadh on the issue, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said on Friday.
"This is the prerogative of the presidential administration, but I think that such a visit is logical. The president has received an invitation from King Salman," Bogdanov told reporters, when asked about a possible visit of the Russian president to the kingdom.
The diplomat noted that work was underway for the possible visit, but it was hard to say whether the visit would take place, as "it depends on the president's schedule."
