Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 24th August, 2018) Indian actor Diljit Dosanjh has termed the call to prayer (Azaan) as very comforting.
In a recent tweet, the Bollywood actor said that he is in Dubai and the best thing there is ‘Azaan’.
“Although, I do not understand anything, because I am not very intelligent, but the sound is very comforting to listen,” he said.
The actor added “In any religion, the peace in the nature of God, his attributes and his gratitude is amazing.”
Earlier, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra had also claimed that she finds the sound of Azaan mesmerising.
Responding to a question during a press conference in Bhopal about what she liked about the city, she said she waits for the time of Azaan on her hotel room’s terrace daily before sunset.
“After pack-up when I sit on the terrace in the evening, I can hear Azaan from at least six mosques. I never miss the chance to listen to it daily as there is a certain beauty in it,” she said, adding that she really like those five minutes as it’s her favourite time.
