MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) US National Security Adviser John Bolton on Thursday told Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in Geneva that Washington would not tolerate any meddling in the upcoming US midterm elections.
"I made it clear that we would not tolerate meddling in 2018, and that we were prepare to take necessary steps to prevent it from happening. We talked about it in a variety of ways, in the area of cyber and information technology exchanges, which we've stopped between the United States and Russia earlier this year. And I said at this point I didn't really see the circumstances were right to resume them again," Bolton told reporters following the talks with Patrushev.
