MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) Moscow is outraged by the media leak of the UN report on the North Korea, views the aim of this action action's goal as an attempt to exert pressure on certain countries regarding the "North Korean dossier," Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday.
"Of course, this is outrageous. The report of the group of experts of the UN Security Council Committee 1718 on N. Korea was leaked to media ... even before its discussion in this sanctioning body, in this format, and before its official circulation by the President of the Security Council," Zakharova said at a weekly briefing.
"We intend to demand that the UN Secretariat immediately conduct a thorough investigation of this outrageous incident, identify the perpetrators and then report to the committee on all the circumstances of the incident, and propose measures to prevent this from happening again," Zakharova added.
