KUBINKA (Moscow Region) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) Avtomatika concern, one of the companies within Russian state corporation Rostec, will begin serial deliveries of anti-drone electronic guns dubbed Pishchal to Russian security forces in 2019, the concerns representative told Sputnik on Thursday.
"At the beginning of 2019, we will start serial deliveries of Pishchal in the interests of the Russian security forces. Now, we are preparing for large-scale production at the Kaluga Electromechanical Plant," the representative said.
Pishchal weighs around 6.6 Pounds and is designed to suppress navigation and communication systems of drones. It has been tested in real combat conditions and shown excellent results, according to Avtomatikas representative.
