MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin held a meeting on Wednesday with Philipine Defense Minister Delfin Lorenzana in Moscow and the sides discussed prospects for further military cooperation, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The sides gave a positive assessment to bilateral cooperation in the military and military-technical fields and outlined steps for their further expansion," the statement said.
According to the statement, Fomin thanked the Philippine delegation for participating in Army-2018 international defense industry forum and National Security Week and also expressed gratitude for the firm position of the Philippine leadership on the development of military-technical cooperation with Russia.
