DUBAI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd August, 2018) Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan on Tuesday discussed over the phone with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo ways to enhance the fight against terrorism and extremism in the middle East, media reported.
According to the Emirates news Agency (WAM), the sides also focused on the recent developments in the region, as well as a number of other regional and international problems.
Earlier in the day, the US Department of State said that Pompeo discussed efforts to achieve peace in Afghanistan in a phone conversation with the Abu Dhabi crown prince. The sides also reiterated their continued commitment to the strong bilateral relationship, spokesperson Heather Nauert added.
