Sidhu reached Lahore via Wagah Border.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 17th August, 2018) Former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has arrived in Pakistan to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
Sidhu has reached Lahore via Wagah Border.
He will attend Imran Khan’s oath-taking as the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan to be held tomorrow, Aug 18.
Former Indian cricketers Kapil Dev, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Sunil Gavaskar were invited to attend the oath-taking ceremony of incoming prime minister Imran Khan. Kapil Dev and Sunil Gawaskar had however have excused to come to Pakistan.
According to Indian media, former Indian captain Kapil Dev declined the invitation citing ‘personal reasons’ while Sunil Gavaskar had his commentary commitments during the ongoing England vs India Test series.
Former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu had accepted Imran's invitation to attend his oath-taking.
