Three people were killed and four others injured in a blast that occured in the Shiite minority's Madinat as-Sadr district of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, the law enforcement authorities said on Tuesday.
BAGHDAD (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 14th August, 2018) Three people were killed and four others injured in a blast that occured in the Shiite minority's Madinat as-Sadr district of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, the law enforcement authorities said on Tuesday.
"Three people were killed and four were injured as a result of an explosion in the area of the Maridi market in Madinat as-Sadr," the authorities said in a statement, adding that the causes of the incident were being investigated.
It is the second incident in the Shiite district over the summer. In June, at least 18 were killed in an ammo explosion in one of the houses of worship.
