Newly elected MNAs draw criticism for not remembering National Anthem

In a video being shared on social media, the newly elected MNAs are seen going clueless upon remembering the national anthem.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 13th August, 2018) A tv reporter while interviewing the newly elected Members of the National Assembly (MNA) asked them to sing national anthem of Pakistan in accordance with the Independence Day to be celebrated tomorrow.

However, to most people’s surprise, they did not remember the national anthem. Those who tried singing it could not remember it completely.

In a video being shared on social media, the newly elected MNAs are seen going clueless upon remembering the national anthem.

One MNA said she cannot sing, others said they don’t remember any further after ‘Pak Sarzameen Shad Bad’. One MNA even said he can’t recall it because of the tension during elections.

People criticised them for not even remembering the national anthem.

The newly elected Members of National Assembly took oath on Monday in the maiden session of 15th National Assembly. Outgoing National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq administered oath to the newly elected MNAs.
