Peshawar (Pakistan Point News – 9th August, 2018) The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders are following in the footsteps of party Imran Khan as they are saying no to the protocol.
Imran Khan on Wednesday nominated Mehmood Khan as the new Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Despite the nomination, Mehmood Khan was seen driving around Peshawar without any protocol. His video has gone viral on social media.

The debate about protocol started after Imran Khan said that neither he would take any protocol nor would he allow his ministers to do so. He said that he himself is the guardian the taxpayers’ money. Giving clear directions, Imran Khan said that the hard earned public money would not be invested in luxuries for the leaders.
Moreover, in his victory speech, denying protocol, the prime minister-in-waiting had declined to use Prime Minister’s House. Khan had announced that he would not use the Prime Minister’s House as his residence and that his party would later decide the fate of the building.
