ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 08th Aug, 2018) More tents have been established for the increasing numbers of beneficiaries from the "Protect Yourself by Legalising Your Status" initiative launched by the Federal Authority For Identity & Citizenship (FAIC) on August 1st through October 31st.
The decision has been taken by Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashdi, Acting Director-General of Foreigners Affairs and Ports Department at FAIC, during his tour of the initiative service centres in Ras al-Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Qaiwain.
The nine centres established by the FAIC for defaulters across the country are seeing increasing numbers of those seeking to avail themselves of the amnesty period, which corroborates the impressive success of the initiative nationwide.
Al Rashdi lauded the role played by FAIC's partners in rendering the initiative a true success.
