DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 08th Aug, 2018) The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award continues to received great interest, with various athletes and sporting institutions applying to compete for the Award's tenth edition.
The Creative Sports Award is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, and is a first of its kind in the field of sports innovation.
The Award's board of Trustees had previously set the application deadline to 31st August 2018, inviting individuals, institutions and youth groups to partake in the award. So far, the Board has received numerous applications from within the UAE, as well as various Arab countries, and international sports federations.
Applicants will be assessed on their innovative initiatives that promote sports and healthy lifestyles to young individuals and members of the community in the Arab world and beyond.
The Award is divided into three main categories, including individuals, teams, and corporate creativity, each of which are based on specific aspects that identify their achievements in the sports sector.
The winners of the Creative Sports Award will be announced on 27th November 2018, they will be honoured during a ceremony which will be held in January 2019.
