Nawaz Sharif has also expressed the wish to visit his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 31st July, 2018) A medical team of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) carried out medical check-up of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) central leader Nawaz Sharif at the hospital on Monday.
Nawaz Sharif had earlier refused going to the hospital but agreed later upon the advice of his personal doctor.
While the former prime minister is under treatment at PIMS, he has again demanded to shift him back to Adiala Jail. Nawaz Sharif said that he has received the basic medical care, now he should be shifted back to the jail.
Nawaz Sharif has also expressed the wish to visit his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz in London. Media sources said that it is being considered to send Nawaz Sharif to London while Maryam Nawaz is also expected to accompany him as an attendant.
Doctors said that Nawaz’s health has improved.
The PIMS medical team treating Nawaz includes Cardiologist Dr Naem Malik, Dr Akhtar Ali Bandesha and other medical specialists while Nawaz Sharif's personal medical consultant also visits the hospital to conduct his routine check-up and consults with the PIMS doctors' team.
Meanwhile, the medical tests of Nawaz Sharif were reported as normal as the level of creatinine and urea was normal while heart test was also normal.
Nawaz Sharif was shifted to PIMS from Adiala Jail on Sunday night on medical reasons and on the advice of his personal medical consultant.
