Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Syed Farukh Ahmed Shah has won PS-24 with 34198 votes.
Sukkur (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Syed Farukh Ahmed Shah has won PS-24 with 34198 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-24 Sukkur-III constituency with 34198 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Tariq Masood Arain was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 35736 votes.
The second runner up was Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Asim Kabeer Khanzada who got 26798 votes. At least 47 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-24. In 2013 elections, there were 153419 voters registered in PS-24, out of which 78031 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.86 %.
