Khairpur (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Munwar Ali Wassan has won PS-27 with 39426 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-27 Khairpur-II constituency with 39426 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Ghulam Qadir Chandio was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 41458 votes.
The second runner up was Sindh United Party candidate Sayed Zain Shah who got 32120 votes. At least 21 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-27. In 2013 elections, there were 126224 voters registered in PS-27, out of which 79282 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 62.81 %.
