Korangi Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate IQBAL MUHAMMAD ALI KHAN has won NA-240 with 61165 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate won in NA-240 Korangi Karachi-ll constituency with 61165 votes. In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Sohail Mansoor Khawaja was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 87805 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Naz Baloch who got 21096 votes. At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-240. In 2013 elections, there were 287170 voters registered in NA-240, out of which 163135 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.80 %.
