Tando Muhammad Khan (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Syed Naveed Qamar has won NA-228 with 76067 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in NA-228 Tando Muhammad Khan constituency with 76067 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Nawab Muhammad Yousif Talpur was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 99700 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Hussain Qureshi who got 86134 votes. At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-228. In 2013 elections, there were 295065 voters registered in NA-228, out of which 203122 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 68.84 %.
